She helped an injured animal return to the wild, a very nice gesture, something most people would just ignore, yet she took her time and made the effort to help. And all the jealous mouth breathers here will tear her apart for it. Just get a life.

brings the bird to the vet, and then when the bird is rehabilitated, she calls the car service to drive the bird back to her

Isn't the rule of nature "survival of the fittest"? This poor bird has no skills. I'll be surprised if it makes it in its natural habitat.
There are so many mourning doves around here it's unreal. They constantly crash into my windows even though the blinds are down and closed. Good dove hunting in this area, there's a couple of weeks left in the season.
