I just donated $1,000 to NSAL for construction of their new facility.
Unlike you skeptics, I think NSAL does outstanding work.

Also, for my $1,000 I'm supposed to be able to ride Beff and feed her some oats.
I think that's worth a grand for me.

 

They're waiting for the orders before they start printing and shipping the calendar. They didn't bother to mention that upfront though until people started to ask where their calendars were a month after ordering them.

didn't KC sell some DVD to people and he was never able to fully send it out to all the purchasers

 

If I remember right, the people who didn't get a DVD were able to get their money back, but it was over a year later and most people never bothered fighting for it. Maybe someone here who ordered one can shed more light on it. Seriously though, if you're dumb enough to buy a DVD from KC and not think that maybe he won't be responsible about getting enough DVDs pressed and promptly returning money on unfulfilled orders, I don't know what to tell you.

Howard's not even trying to pretend any more that the calendar has anything to do with animals. Heard him refer to it on the replay today as the calendar OF BETH he photographed. Too bad NSAL allows the Sterns to use them to peddle a vanity project in the name of charity. I don't think most people who buy a calendar from an animal shelter want to see photos of an over-the-hill attention whore hogging the spotlight.
