You can say what you want about Train. Train came to Sea Bright in December after Superstorm Sandy and played in our Fire Department parking lot for free for the entire town as a benefit to raise money for the town, which had a 5 foot wall of water go through the town. They flew in from San Francisco to do this. Not a huge fan of their music, but that was a nice gesture, which was in response to a fan request. Not many bands would do that.

I hope John Stamos plays the drums and holds a kitten so Beth's panties get wet.

I think the disappointment comes less from anything against Train themselves, and more confirmation that this will be same shit, different day regarding the birthday bash.

On December 31st, 20013, I resolved not to listen to Train, Jewel, Natalie Maines, Bon Jovi or Graham Fogerty in the year 2014. Now I get why Howard warned us to hold off on our resolutions.

Like they had anything better to do on a Friday night.

Smart idea for Howard and Gary to hide such an A List band like that till the last minute. Imagine the onslaught of people trying to force their way in if they found this out weeks in advance. It would be mass riots outside the Hammerstein Ballroom.

The only thing that might get me to listen is the possibility of the listening thread here.

    it really sounds awful though.

I'm a huge Louis CK fan. Love his standup, love his show, love when he's on O&A but I don't have much desire to listen to him lick Stern's ass.

I fucking hate Train's music but they do seem like decent guys
