if we find out Sam Simon finally coughed up a check which resulted in that tweet then the case is closed that Yoko BethO is the biggest cunt ever. Also we have to look into if this was a result of Wiggy's strong arm speeches on his show and retaliate appropriately.

 

I'll lose respect for the guy if he gave one fucking dime. Sam has made comments in the past that seemed to make it clear he was keenly aware what type of "charity" NSAL really is -- namely millions blundered on "celebrity" and feelgood events and CEO salaries with little work actually being done, and the whole "no kill" being a ruse where they simply ship off the animals they don't want to deal with, ergo "kill elsewhere".

 

The man is dying and all she cares about is a check.

I heard Sam say that too. The shocking thing is it was Howard who mentioned it. A few months back Howard said that Sam has talked about how animal charities that get their funding through Red Carpet events and big parties aren't worth donating to because they put the donations back into throwing more parties. I think it was an underhanded way of him telling Beth to cool it a bit and slow down with all the NSAL publicity.

Also, I have never seen an animal activist like Beth be tied to only one animal shelter. With her it is everything North Shore this, North Shore that, Bianca's Furry Friends, North Shore Calendars, etc. Why not spread the love around if this is what you so passionately care about? Do the Hamptons really have an epidemic of stray cats? What she should do is donate to a place like Detroit Dog Rescue. A no-kill shelter started by two average Americans who wanted to deal with the problem of Stray Dogs in Detroit. They rely solely on the donations of the public and put it all back into the charity. Their Executive Director is paid $58,000 a year unlike North Shore's Director who makes close to $300,000.
