I am still waiting for an SD card slot in my car.
Steve Langford's monster fat penis
"Robin, they tell me that we had over 17 million viewers on my first show on AGT, but Neislen changed the way they do their ratings system and over six million of my fans were not accounted for. All I know is that NBC execs were doing cartwheels."
Can someone explain the SD card thing? I've seen it referenced multiple times and have no idea.
"Robin, at least six people sit around the same television watching the talent show held in my honor, but that is only counted as one person in the ratings"
Wiggy surrounded himself with ass kissers and yes men. They were just doing what he was paying them to do.
SIM card, not sd card.
Robin, I know of many families that get together and watch AGT, but also stream it to their etch a sketch's at the same time. The Neilsen system is antequated Robin.....Robin?
Oh yep, you are right. Although, for his purposes, it's a distinction without a difference. I can't imagine if you laid them in front of him he'd know what they were
AGT once had 16 million viewers tube in? That's impressive
That's a biiiiig drop to now
LoL ... oddly enough most of us got it
That joke transcends type-os
I was gonna say, because I've had an SD slot in my factory radio for years in my car. I normally keep a card in the slot filled with music, and then swap it out with a card that has extensive road data for the navigation when I take long trips.
the new audis have sim card slots actually. mainly used to access google maps and works as a wifi hotspot.
Howie will never address that prediction because it was crazy for him to think he was going to pull those types of numbers knowing his fan base was a fraction of what it once was. I still remember Stern calling Jon Hein in to talk AGT ratings on the day of Stern's debut on AGT, and then the next day when Hein came in with the "lower than expected" ratings...and then the following day when the ratings were again "lower than expected". Then, that is when the whole "its a slow build" comment came along and AGT ratings were never discussed again in detail like that. That tweet there...Stern predicted AGT would be above 16.41 million viewers...that night was Stern's AGT debut and he pulled in 10.48 million. The key thing is that night he did pull in a demo rating of 3.7...that was the highest demo number Stern ever pulled. The show ended with a finale number of 2.4 rating and 10.59 million viewers...a big drop compared to what that Tweet said.
If Stern would have just come out and had low expectations, if he had just said he hopes for good ratings, and if he was honest and discussed them even if they were low, then he could have saved a lot of "face"...but he had to be bold and have those high predictions, and then blame other variables for the low ratings (MLB all-star game, NBA Finals, Lebron James, the Olympics, etc.). That is why it is so fun to poke at his ratings failures at this point...yes, the show is #1....against nothing, but the numbers dropped 20% when he joined AGT, and they have consistently dropped since. AGT with Pierce rose in ratings every year...fact. AGT with Stern has dropped in ratings every year...fact. AGT 2014 is the lowest rated season in AGT history...fact. I now sycophants hate facts, but at this point they are undisputable.
Robin, I know a lot of people skype the show to others who aren't able to get a tv signal. How they got internet and no tv, I have no idea, but that's a huge audience, Robin! Robin???
