Now compare this to the Dust Collecting Artifacts/In Home yard sale that King Grifter has acquired.

Irvine was bean fields up until about 25 years ago. They slapped it all up out of nothing. There's nothing THERE, just suburbs and shopping malls.

I continue to not understand how's there's THIS much $ in MLB anymore??? Especially in scale to it's entertainment value today vs what OTHER entertainment is available now to when I was a kid.

Being kid or adult - I barely know a soul who watches or goes to these games anymore. MLB and World Series ratings continue to drop like Howard joining AGT - but yet they continue to ink all these bizarro lucrative TV deals for people to continue to not watch or care.

I think it was the first gated community plan approved by the city or something like that. I remember reading an article on it.

Right on the edge of uncomfortaboe pretentiousness but still way more livable than Chimney manor.

Everytime I see a contract like that or MLB itself inking some TV deal - I constantly liken it to every inexplicable and undeserved Sirius deal Wigarace signs. Each time I get a little angier at the anti-consumer advocacy of it all and think "JUST SAY NO, OWNERS-- WHERE ELSE ARE THEY GONNA GO???"
