The contract for the next Air Force One has been awarded to Boeing commercial 747-8 airliners, the U.S. Air Force announced Wednesday.

While we have no idea what the interior for Air Force One will look like, we have gotten our hands on some photos of what one really rich dude did with his recently. The 747 runs about $650 Million before any interior upgrades, which in this case contained some bold accents.

The current Air Force One is a highly customized Boeing 747-200B series aircraft.

One very lucky, very wealthy, and very confidential client recently took delivery of a personalized Boeing 747-8, completed by Greenpoint Technologies of Kirkland, Washington. Its incredible 4,786 sq. ft. of space features a stateroom, lounges, an office, and a massive dining room…

It makes me so happy to know that the taxes coming out of my check are going toward such a blinged out pimp ride.

Some selective editing and posting by the OP.... here is the original story from Yahoo:

    https://www.yahoo.com/autos/s/first-boeing-747-private-jet-palace-sky-204100964.html

There is a passing reference that the 747 model is currently used as the primary Presidential transport.

The Air Force, however, recently did select Boeing to provide the next Presidential aircraft.... a 747-800

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/air-force-boeing-747-selected-presidential-plane/story?id=28556416

It won't be delivered until 2023, so all of your "pimping" concerns are unwarranted. Most likely Hilary Clinton will be the first owner ;)

Why is he lucky? He had the cash/good credit score, and bought something he wanted. Personally, I would not want to spend so much on something that requires constant maintenance and storage costs. Just buy or create an airline and spread the cost through the corp. Don't know his business situation. But 'lucky'? That phrase has cultmarx all over it. Part of the large passive conspiracy designed to make us hate the rich. Still wish I were rich. End rant.

Doesn't mater if it's for obongo or the next swindler, it's needless extravagance.

I get the president needs a bed and stuff, but it seems overly opulent.

It is terribly opulent. Just another sign of fools raising the office of the President to a King. Didn't start with this one.

If its not powered by nuclear fusion or other form of non-fossil fuel technology, I'm not impressed. Airplane propulsion in 2015 is not much different than it was in 1970. The planes are more fuel efficient but that's about it. They're no faster, no quieter and no smoother. What's the big whoop about a plane that's decked out like Snoop Dogg's crib if the same turbulence that scares the shit out of the poor slobs in coach on a regular airliner will also affect this plane too?

Judging by the gold-plated everything decor, the 'rich guy' is clearly of the Arab variety....
