Seems like a lot of people went to the Standards (Radiohead, Wilco, Arcade Fire).

I dont necessarily disagree with you, but it was always ranked in the top five when they did the best of 2000s lists. I think its good, but not worthy of that rank.

Perhaps I'm jaded. I came from a scene where bands like The Rapture were going show to show in shitty beat up vans to play to about 2 dozen people, then the kid from "Big" and his band get a big break because he has a rich daddy? Without paying their dues? It kind of pissed me off at the time.

    Plus....
I'm pretty certain its called "This Is It"....and "It" bores me...trust me, I tried. I find them to be dull, overtly derivative, and overrated.

Pitchfork staff is a bunch of pillowbiting tools who like "finding" music more than listening to it.

Do you mean MV should have been much higher, or it shouldn't be on the list at all?

Cool thread. I have about 1/4 of those albums.

    Including #1,2,5,6,7

IMHO #7 and #1 are the best.

Pk. I am sending a copy of #7 to you.... along with the other stuff.
