Our huge basil plant yielded a delicious pesto today. First time I've made it. Turned out awesome!
Did ya wear your new outfit?
Gathering leaves, two packed cups, give or take.
Our plant is decimated now.
Stop wooing me with tasty treats.

Here's what we had.

I gotta say, pesto is a bit overwhelming sometimes
i had pesto for the first time about a year ago, love that crap
It is tasty... Here's the recipe in a nutshell -
2 cups basil leaves
1/2 cup fresh grated Romano cheese
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup pine nuts
3 garlic cloves, minced
Salt & pepper to taste
Yes, that's why we both eat it, we both reek of garlic now.
I know, I suck.
Elvis wants some, too.

I just rolled 21 meatballs and will start browning them soon.
