A Plaquemine teacher accused of having sex with students pleaded not guilty to all charges Wednesday morning, according to WAFB. A grand jury indicted 30-year-old Keavin Keith on five counts of felony carnal knowledge and 30 counts of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and a student earlier this month. A former student of Keith's alleged that while she was enrolled as a high school student at Mathematics, Science and Arts Academy-West in Plaquemine, where Keith was a teacher, the two of them had a sexual relationship. Keith has taught at MSA-West since 2008. Keith admitted to authorities that he had sex with three female students. A DNA test also confirmed that Keith had fathered a child of one of the alleged victims. Keith is free after posting a $100,000 bond. A motions hearing is scheduled for Nov. 10.
