I delivered pizzas.
And was always high.
I ran a message board once.
And mowed lawns.
I worked at a liquor store in college. Free shit.
I mostly depended on tips, and getting invited into strangers houses to get drunk and smoke dope.
Worked for a moving company for 3 years in College. That job was brutal, but made me good $$.
I worked at a machine shop that specialized in building the Ford 385 engine family for marine applications (the name coming from the 3.85 inch crankshaft stroke of the 460 V8).
I also worked at a car wash in college. On weekends during the winter we would run about 1,500 cars through. Made $200 a day with tips included.
We froze our asses off and did 10 hours straight through, but at that age it was worth it.
I worked at Bonanza Steakhouse in high school.
And what I do now
Those places had the best salad bar
I put a dead body into a cardboard box when i did landscaping for a funeral home once.
I built fences for like a year. The dude I worked for was a total lush, we would go by the bar at 6AM so he could have a few beers, then stop at the liquor store for some job site beer, we would work until he needed to go home to pass out. Usually btw 12 and 2 pm.
babysitter, mcdonalds cook then cashier, hockey arena and baseball concession girl, walmart photo lab tech while also file clerk and overnight sitter for a radio host - that fucking sucked, then photo lab manager, agency employee for a company that then hired me on, still there and have advanced quite decently.
I lasted one night waitressing at a strip club.
They allowed you to drink on the job - and I get mouthier, not easier, when I drink.
They didn't think that I "fit the position", at the end of the evening.
I totally railed the salad bar girls in the bathroom when we were closing.
How much did you want to stab one of those fat, old fucks when they grabbed your ass?
