Any podcasts you guys listen to? Still searching for a funny show that has the same kinda format as 90s Howard. Controversial and funny in a fuck-you kinda way.

I just got into the whole podcasting thing. The Tim Ferriss Show is the first one I'm subscribed to. He has some good and interesting guests on there.

I'll second Adam Carolla's podcasts. If you're into Better Call Saul, there's an insider podcast for the show that's pretty interesting.

If you're just getting into it, I recommend getting a paid app to play. For Apple "Downcast" is one of the better ones and for Android it used to be "Doggcatcher". But it's been a while since I have used Android so there may be a better one now.

I was listening to Adam Carolla / Dennis Miler but they did six and then stopped for reasons unknown.

I never miss Gilbert's. His ability to be funny as hell some shows and then play it somewhat straight on others is amazing. All depends on the guest- guests he lets talk! Something wiggy still hasn't figured out yet. Always entertaining stuff, especially if you like old movies and entertainment. His co-host Frank is an encyclopedia on movies/tv.
Norm Macdonald Live is really good. I see it's returning with new shows in May. There's a two-parter where Gilbert is the guest that is funny as fuck.

Listen to the 'Classic Loveline' podcast if you want Carolla when he was actually funny and laid down legit off-the-cuff fresh-material every day. He joined the show in '95. I grew up on the west coast, so my adolescence was spent with Stern in the morning and Carolla at night. At the time, I honestly would not have been able to tell you who had the better overall show, the laughs they both delivered was that consistent. A great period in my life.

But you'll probably enjoy his current podcast for about a month or so until you get tired of the endless repetition of subjects/rants. He's way tamer than he was in the 90s though, I used to love how he'd say he had the dumbest listeners and make fun of every caller, now he kisses the fans ass to hock his wine cooler and "stand-up" dates (when he used to shit on stand-up comics in the 90s, too).

The Gilbert podcast is consistently incredible, but it's more informative than hilarious (especially if you're expecting the GIlbert we know and love from old Stern shows).

Anthony Cumia is hit-or-miss, it's really good when he's not doing the same AM radio-style political rants for 1 1/2 hours straight, but, that rarely happens, so, listen if you like to nod along to a dude preaching your political beliefs back to you. But for laughs, definitely find the shows he did with Stuttering John. The second one where he has the farting porn star on is one of the best "talk" shows I've ever heard (and I usually hate that stupid porn star shit). It's a friggin' laugh riot, I wish every show he did was like that one, but, thanks Obama.

Joe Rogan if you ever wondered what it would be like to hear a show stacked with comedians discussing serious subjects without being funny whatsoever.

None of the current podcasts out really hit the 90s Stern laugh quotient or attitude, in my opinion, they tend to all err on the side of 00s Stern "why so serious" pontificating and marathon interview/profile.

I did find the best radio show/podcast I've heard since 90s Stern that aired from 2012-2014. The dude basically laid out an over-the-top point of view or take on a news or social issue at the start of every day to generate a sea of callers, then would rip them apart like a tactician, but more to bust balls and generate laughs versus the typical overt political aim of other hosts that do. He let them "hang themselves with their own rope" as he used to say, whereas other hosts steamroll their point and cut them off. I liked that he didn't kiss ass, someone could call and say they love the show and he'd still eviscerate them if the call warranted it. I also love the show was never about guests or lame ass interviews, like how Stern in the 90s was more about busting chops than star-fucking. But he got promoted to afternoons, deleted the feedburner to his old show and went milquetoast cheezy jock, so, ah well. I still have the direct links for about two years worth of shows if you give a shit, but you probably stopped reading this wall of text 4 paragraphs ago.

But if you do care, let me know I'll get them for you.

    Best of luck.

Because it was terrible. Miller didn't want to be there even a little bit and Carolla does 200 podcasts and has done nothing but repeat himself for the past 5 years and basically yell about how he's better and smarter than everyone else.
