    Get this scum off the streets': Police hunt for suspect who broke into a 91-year-old man's Detroit house and burned him alive to steal his van
    • Paul Monchnik was found dead in his burning home in Detroit at around 3 a.m. on Monday
    • The suspect stole the victim's 2000 silver Chevrolet van. The stolen van's license plate is CNU1721
    • The elderly man's distraught son Scott Monchnik has asked for the public's help to track down the suspect
    • Monchnik urged the public to come forward and help 'get this scum off the streets'
    • The suspect is described as an African American man in his early 20s, who is around five-foot nine-inches and was wearing a gray hoodie
    • Police said that the suspect was seen on surveillance buying gasoline nearby and may have set the fire in an effort to cover his tracks
