I go 8 to start the summer and then 4 at the end.

Always 15 on the face though. Gotta protect the money maker.

Worked out in the sun for nearly 20 years. Wore a sombrero during peak sun hours and sometimes a long sleeve shirt.
    HOT!

Although not a ginger, my fair Irish skin is too sensitive to be in the sun. I avoid it like a vampire. I hate summer.

    Nope. Realistic.
Put a bunch of crappy chemicals on your skin then go out and bake them in.
Doesnt make sense at all to me.

I read somewhere that sunscreens may actually cause more likelihood of a death due to some form of cancer because they block vitamin D from the sun. You may get less skin cancer, but you get other cancers. At least that was the theory.

I assume they're saying that cancers you can spot early with due diligence (annual checks by a dermatologist maybe) and are highly treatable beat something hidden inside you that you only figure out you have when you get really ill and it's spread.

Don't get bad burns though, that is one of the big cancer causers I've read.

I go out when it's cloudy and cool or at night. I once burned the top of my head to the point it was one big blister. That's the kind of thing you will only let happen once.

    I go with like 100.

My Irish/German skin burns really badly and I want no part of that skin cancer shit.

My face moisturizer has SPF in it, and when I drive I put on sun-gloves and a sun protective shirt.
