Just curious about where most of us fall on the political spectrum.
Was a Democrat in high school Then I entered the real world which opened my eyes.
Then I became a Reagan Republican. Remained so for many years, until I watched the Republican Party get taken over by RINOS.
Then I became an Independent voter, until I realized both parties are full of shit and totally destroyed everything that made America great.
Now I no longer vote. The country I grew up in and loved no longer exist, so what's the point?
i don't identify with any party or group. i decide what i support solely on the merits of the issues.
The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. – Robert A. Heinlein
howz about both teams of lying scumbag career elite ruling class that Washington, Jefferson, adams warned us about can suck it
I am not aligned with a party either, they both pander to big money interests that leave the average person trying to earn a living, raise a family and control their own lives out in the cold.
i'm a libertarian....i want the gov't out of people's bedrooms and abortion must remain legal.
i'm for staying out of foreign misadventures. i put liberal republican.
mitt romney is my ideal candidate for president.
I'm very socially liberal (in terms of what folks are allowed to do, not in terms of taking care of bums) and very fiscally conservative.
Leave me alone, keep your hand out of my pocket, don't make excuses and realize you were born in the greatest success incubator in the history of our planet. If you're failing here, you're a clownshoe and should be quiet.
What is it about post-war America conservatives are nostalgic for?
That falls into the era of liberal Democrat domination from 1932-1968. The Republicans only had Eisenhower during that time and he was so moderate the Tea Party of the day charged him with being a crypto-Commie. The 50s was the height of the labor movement, about 1/3 of the American labor force was unionized...
I want to be a member of the Whig Party, its a party that is pro wig. I think Howard is a member.
I'm a staunch Independent. I have views that are both left and right. I support abortion rights and am a firm believer in gun control (left) but also support the notion of Workfare and also support Giuliani's Broken Windows policing policy (right).
Moderate democrat. I believe that when all people do better (education, employment, health) we do better as country. I don't care who sleeps with who, and family planning/abortion is up to the individual. But as far as the middle east, I would have nuked them in 2001 and had a good night's sleep.
Roosevelt said in his old-timey voice "necessitous men cannot be free men". That sounds moderate, but it's quite radical in practice.
Does borrowing money to start a business or paying off a mortgage mean you're necessarily financially irresponsible?
Everyone's in debt, the government's always in debt, every other government's in debt, so why the obsession with balancing the budget?
Vote for that Dorb guy, pm me and you may get some good reps!
Dorb for pres. We need a man with a thick, solid 8 incher. Is this thing on?
I'm a national socialist. Unfortunately hitler and the nazis give people with my leanings a bad name. I basically believe in social conservative values,a strong military, but believe in nationalised industry ,a national health service, the idea of everyone in a nation working towards bettering their country and their local community rather than just thinking of themselves and at most their families. I like kennedys line' ask not what you can do for you but what you can do for your country'. I see liberalism whether social or fiscal as a problem.
Reps for you my friend!
Politically, I'm sitting here in front of my computer eating a bowl of ice cream with a banana in it.
Where is the "Dorb is a Retard" option?
Make your own damned poll and put me in it.
