The vet shoved a big ass crochet hook up his butt.
did you let @garypagetwo dog sit
Well Sinister ended the thread already.
Pics or it never happened
Emptying his anal gland? I thought vets can do this digitally, with a big ball of cotton to soak up the goo.
Poor guy was plugged up for a day or so (he swallows the knots from his raw hides whole) and when the dam finally broke loose it was a bloody mess.
And he constantly eats shit he isn't supposed to (rocks, wrappers, lego men).
poor little guy
this happened to Hal today too
Yeah but he enjoyed it.
Awe. Poor Gus.
Look into Galileo Bones, Mack. They are super strong and are made to prevent dogs from swallowing big pieces of rawhide. They are plastic but they are shaped like a real bone and only tiny pieces flake off when my dogs chew them. My dogs LOVE them. They chew for several hours each day and I don't have to replace them all the time too.
Are they pretty sturdy? He'll destroy a red Kong in 20 minutes... He ate his last one and this same exact thing happened.
The black Kongs stand up pretty well but he loses interest in them, and the same for cow femurs.
YES! They are super strong and are made for strong chewers. Believe it or not, my pug can destroy toys made for the bigger, stronger dogs. I've never seen anything like it. I decided to try Galileo Bones and have been happy for several years. Walden chews for hours with his mighty jaws. My only problem is that they stopped making them for smaller dogs, so when he chews up the last of his bones, there will be no more. But lucky for Gus, they still have the real big ones.
Mack got some ink on his tuff guy arm
Shit, @Schmoopy would love the jumbo size
Look into the flat rawhides. There is no knot for them to swallow. I don't give my dog any chew toys at all for this reason. Hope he's doing ok.
dunno about tuff guy arms but yeah I'm pretty well sleeved.
They are heavy as fuck too. These are no lightweight bones.
