      We've missed you, Tim Curry!

Three years after he suffered a major stroke that left him in a wheelchair, the 69-year-old actor made a rare red carpet appearance Sunday night at The Actors Fund's 19th Annual Tony Awards viewing party in Los Angeles where he was awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show star looked dapper in a black and white suit while posing for a few photos on the red carpet.

"I'm doing well and I'm looking forward to it," Curry told Los Angeles Magazine about receiving the award Sunday night. "I've done a few benefits for the Actors Fund and I think it's a marvelous organization. I hope not to have to use it."

He continued of the honor, "It means that it just sort of solidifies the kind of work the American acting community has given me for years now. It's very gracious of them, I think. I was thrilled when they told me and I am thrilled now."

Curry added of keeping a sense of humor through his health troubles, "Vital. Absolutely vital. It's not tough to maintain. It is just part of my DNA."

Curry suffered a major stroke back in 2012. A year after the health scare, his rep told E! News in a statement, "He has been going to physical therapy doing well and in great humor. He thanks everyone for sending good wishes."

"He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and in great humor," she added back in May 2013.

I saw this yesterday too. Very sad. My earliest memory of him is in that silly Clue movie. I always thought he was kinda funny. Be well funny man.

I don't feel sad for him. Shitty things happen to decent folks all of the time and he seems to be dealing with it ok. What can you do afterall. Good for him.

I think I'm the only person in my generation that wasn't a fan of that movie. Seeing a guy in lingerie doesn't do it for me.
He seems like a decent guy and I don't like seeing anyone in that condition.:(

He's a great actor. I feel bad for him, but if that was me, no way I do a red carpet thingy like that.

At least he's not confined to a bed getting lackluster care. Hope he had a nice night.

It's actually not a good movie in and of itself, but going to the midnight screenings with the audience participation was a blast.

Yes, the audience participation was the best! We used to have so much fun at those screenings.
I saw the movie once at home on TV and that was it for me. No mas.
I'll live with my memories. :)
