It is 24 hours since the Stern exclusive! 7,757 views! (This video is unlisted. Be considerate and think twice before sharing.) http://www.howardstern.com/news/neil-young-i-want-to-drive-my-car
I wonder how many of the 7,757 viewers were able to sit thru the entire thing. I would bet over 75% of the viewers bailed within the first 5 minutes.
Last week he said the premiere episode of Mike Tyson Mysteries was available to watch on HowardStern.com, which sounded fishy. I'm assuming this sudden interest in his "brand" is merely a contract negotiation strategy, to show Sirius all the plans and initiatives he has (and it'll all stop once he's signed a new deal). But this whole HowardStern.com exclusive is going to do him more harm than good once people start looking at the numbers.
Oh how the mighty has fallen. Back in the day the Wig could rally up enough people to close down multiple NYC blocks. But now??
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Neil fan but @LawyerLarry had a better song with his "peep show" tune from yesterday. This all but convinces me Howie has under 10,000 listeners left.
Clearly, this is a new revenue stream for Stern. Suddenly they're posting up these types of things (for very limited times=commercials) on the HS site? He's always incorporated product advertisements into his bullshit conversations (apple, youporn etc.), but now they've expanded. Same expansion that allows him to shit all over Yucko and his show, then a few weeks later has Yucko on a bunch and praises how wonderful he and his show are. 75% of the show is a commercial in one form or another.
Did you catch he is doing the desperate celeb thing of telling the pap where he would be.....I'm going to go vote...oh its such a hassle because people are going to make a big deal when they see me.... He wants to get photographed voting If he really thinks its a hassle he could have early voted or absentee voted. Notice his wife doesn't vote in NYC, she resides in the Hamptons. I bet he doesn't even vote in NYC, I bet he is registered in Florida.
I don't believe anything he says anymore, and if you notice, even his sycophants don't defend his horseshit anymore.
