One of my favorites from it, totally relates to my teenage asshole father peer pressure existence.
I got a Gibson, without a case.
Fast slow fast.
One of the greatest pieces of work ever recorded.
The first time I heard this music/album was when me and all of my friends went to see The Decline of Western Civilization and this movie was the opener.
Two of my most memorable music things ever.
Nice! Good to see other fans.
My Dad couldn't stand on two feet as he lectured about morality.
This will give away my age but fuck it.
I saw the Who on the tour when the stampede happened.
Unfortunately Keith Moon was already gone and Kenny Jones was on drums.
But they played a gig in Largo, Md then a few days later the stampede happened, then they for some reason came back to Largo. Since they knew that most of the fans that had seen them a couple of nights earlier we're seeing them for a second time in less than a week or so they played Quadraphenia in it's entirety to open the show.
Two of the best shows of my life.
Quadrophenia easily ranks in my top ten favorite albums of all time. Pete Townshend is an incredible writer and his guitar playing and singing are grossly under-appreciated.
While the Who is my all time favorite band and this is my favorite album by them, this song absolutely blows me away. sheer perfection.
