Greatest love story since Harold & Maude.
"I love Alison, hoo...hoo!"
It was the blockbuster movie of 1997. If blockbuster means it was out of the theaters in two weeks.
How many Oscars did it win?
It was nominated for a Blockbuster Award!
Such a wonderful movie. And the acting was superb.
Domestic Total Gross: $41,230,799
I remember taking my new girlfriend (future wife) to titanic and wishing i could watch private parts instead.
Best decision I ever made.
titanic was painful, but it got her juices flowing, if you now what I mean.
What I mean is, I inserted my salami into her deli.
I'll have to log in later to give it 1 star.
I've never seen it.
It's actually a good movie, but they say Woody Allen and Roman Polanski made some good movies too and I've never seen any of them.
howard was dead the entire time
howard's marriage was dead the entire time
Howard is really a woman.
My GF and I watch it once a month. Great content and funny. I even went to the red carpet premiere and met Brian Phallan.
Howard banged the fake Jessica Hahn in his trailer.
Probably one of the most fictionalized biopics of all time. The guy broadcasting to a hundred people in Hartford was fighting off the sexual advances of Hollywood actresses!
And it performed so poorly at the box office that the company that produced it, Rysher Entertainment, closed down its film division three months after Private Parts came out. Howard promised them they'd outgross Wayne's World at the box office, but fell about $140,000,000 short in the U.S. alone. Rysher never made another movie again after Private Parts hammered the final nail in its coffin.
To put that into perspective: Howard's low-budget New Year's Eve Pay-Per-View special made over $40,000,000. His vacation house in Florida cost over $50,000,000 -- and that's before Beth's $10,000,000 closet renovation.
It is but.... it's only 28 minutes long. See... all the Alison scenes and mentions were scrubbed, along with anything remotely non-PC.
