Right outside my living room door, I have a huge automatic awning the width of my house that extends and can cover my entire patio. It's normally retracted especially at night. For some reason a family of bats have decided to hang from it at night after all the lights are out. I always close the storm shades at night because I don't want the morning sun to shine on the furniture. I normally flip on the patio light when I close it and once, a couple months ago, something started whipping around at high speed. The first time I thought it was a bird, and didn't think anything of it. It's been the same until one night I showed my wife and then we could clearly see that they were bats. The other night, they decided to have a party, there must have been at least 6 or 7. When I turned on the light, it was show of them circling and doing touch and gos to where they were hanging. When I went out in the morning, the area was full little black shits like mice turds. I had to hose down the house and everything around to get rid of them. Last night I sprayed quite a bit of Raid so the smell would irritate them and left on one of the interior lights because it seems they like it totally dark. I didn't see any when I went to bed, but I now need to find something that will chase them off.
hang a bat house away from the patio. many styles and prices out there. be careful if you decide to kill them though, there are large fines for doing so in some places.
I have only a few fears and bats are one of them. Despise those little fuckers! If a bat ever entered my house- on the market next day. Once they get in, you can't get them out. Fuck those flying rodent cocksuckers!!!!!!
See I thought the next schticky troll would be a ghetto black guy or a member that posts are entirely in Spanish.
