We've resumed negotiations and we're getting close!
It is indeed.
Those things are awesome.
it looked GREAT until she parked it outside and let it get battered by the harsh Idaho winters and baked during 100+ degree days.
Lucky guess. I bought a brand new 88 XLT and sold it in 01. Loved that thing.
I love them too. They're starting to creep up in value so I want to snag one before they go nuts.
Oh fuck yes. Fucking fuck yes.
'88 Bronco was my first car.
I've been going back and forth with the lady for 3 years on it and I think we're getting pretty close... it's now at a car lot on consignment and I know the guy who owns the lot pretty well.
I made an offer on it today but now he's playing the waiting game with me. He knows how bad I want it.
wow that was fast!
He came back at me with $3700
I told him to get fucked.
Might counter him again with $2900
Do that shit, son!!!!
What does it need ? Is it a roached out cancer basket case ?
It shows 65k on the odometer (prolly 165k) so the engine and auto trans will need some attention. The interior is a little rough.
If it truly is a 165k both differentials and the transfer case will need to be freshened up.
As far as the body and paint go it's pretty much immaculate... that rear bumper was $2500 and the paint job was $6600
It's going to need a fuel pump and tires on day 1.
