Why do they spend so much time in the scenes before the end of the movie on Henry cooking dinner.
Because he's a fucking wop dego bastard and they love to eat
Guinea cooking stuff, thats all.
It was a political statement.
But they spent a LOT of time about him and his brother making that sauce.
Dad was Irish. Mom from Sicily.

Perfect movie. Beginning to end.
I think it was to try to highlight what a fucked up place Henry was in. Cooking some nice veal cutlets while taking care of his feeb brother, all the while snorting mountains of coke and dodging helicopters. It added to the overall anxiety of the scene.
I agree with this.
