How many simultaneous connections can you realistically expect on one router? Most of them are wireless. I have a printer attached to a router with 104 other users. The printer is only working sporadically. When I hard wire my laptop to the printer, it works fine. The printer is connected by ethernet to the router. This is just a residential router. I know that routers promise almost unlimited connections but that just isn't true. I think it's at least twice as loaded as it should be and is affecting the printer. What say you?

how much memory does your router have? more memory = more connections.

I loved it until all the kids gangbanged the girl. And Tim Curry was good as Pennywise in the TV adaptation.

Fuck if I know. It was issued by one of the telecom companies here. A nothing special residential router.

well basically they are linux computers. some use RISC CPUs and some use non-RISC. the big difference between SOHO and real commercial routers is the kind of cpu and the amount and kind of memory. in general more is better.

Depends on the speed of the router’s CPU and available RAM and on the services running on the router

Can't find the specs for either. It does say dual core processor but not the speed or type. No mention of RAM. Probably minimal so I can assume I'm pretty overloaded as I first thought.

I can't make the connection between my thread and this photo. Perhaps it's because the image is so small.

I did research. It seems like everyone publishes their best possible performance which can never be reached IRL.
