Perps that have run from you
How many got away?
Most of them?
When we were allowed to chase in a car? Not many. If there was a foot chase after the fatest/slowest one was always the driver.
On foot? I am not fast but could go a good distance so I would try to just keep 'em in sight and hope they burned out or that I could give directions over radio for others to get the tackle. I did ok but not great.
They always want to get away much more than I want to catch them. With the way things are today I'm not sure it is worth the risk to fight with or chase anyone except in extreme situations.
@Lemmy now can see them running away
Did they catch him?
If I was being chased by a cop I would be yelling back at him about how much trouble he was going to get in if he hurt me and is he sure he wants to catch me?
Lemmy's 9 mm is undefeated in races with fleeing perps.
Just had my last checkup a few days ago.......20/20.
God I loved Crown Vics.
I do not approve of the chintzy, cheap ass Chargers.
The Chargers look better as police cars, IMO, but are fragile shit.
I have test driven a few Challengers (392 SRT and a Scat Pak) trying to convince myself to get one. I really want to make myself do it but they seem underpowered due to the weight and feel like the shit police car I drive daily. Allegedly.
You guys got any of the ecoboost Police Interceptors? Those motherfuckers haul the mail.
My department is not paying a premium for turbos. We are, in writting, told to turn in the opposite direction if a car flees us so what is the point in having anything more than a moped engine.
Ahhhh, the good old days! My favorite car at work was an '88 Caprice with the trusty 5.7 and steel bumpers. Good times, good times....
I don't think they're allowed to sell Challengers to white people
It really comes down to which dancing monkey has the gun at the right time these days...
