I am a huge fan of his video games. Love Ghost Recon, Rainbow 6 & Splinter cell.

    R.I.P., funny man.
I never finished any of your novels & I hated the movies based on them.
    He was popular.
    He was prolific.

His first several books were very good. After the cold war ended and he built up an enormous research staff, his later releases just didn't have the same energy or pacing. Talented guy though. R.I.P.

James Patterson has a new book every month, it seems.

ever pick one up at random, open it up in the middle of the novel and just read a few lines of dialogue?

True. And I think he used to be very good until he turned into a book factory. I don't think he even writes most of those. It's always James Patterson with so and so.

Same here. I'll always remember the first 3 R6's, first 4 Splinter Cells, and the original Ghost Recon and the 2 expansion packs, though I also enjoyed Advanced Warfighter on Xbox 360.
