I checked the Satellite years, a bunch of shows from that era lately. I didn't get to listen around that time..Shit. Even the weaker ones standout.

It's like a whole different Howard! The energy level's up. Everyone's passionate.

At one point, they talked about taking days off. He didn't want to overdo it because it's not fair on a paid service. :jj:

I loved the first couple of years at Sirius. They did some weird, sick shit there for awhile. It was kind of haphazard (especially what you saw on Howard TV) but that brought something to the show as well. I think Howard was full of optimism and really wanted to develop those channels with great content along with HTV but somewhere along the line, he got burned out and greed took over.

i think after the merger it started to go down...he got his 70 million bonus or what ever it was and thats all he really wanted...and then after the wedding it went completely downhill

In 2006 Howard had one of the greatest years (program qualitywise) of his career. 2006 ranks up there right along side any year from the 1990s when Howard was constantly in the headlines and was what I consider the greatest entertainer of the decade

2006 was also a huge improvement over his final couple of years on testicle radio and I would say his best year since 2001 (hanks last year, artie becomes a show member)

I should note that 2007 (9/10) was a great year too, and 2008 was good (8/10) (though not quite the level of 06 and 07).

2009 (6/10) was when the evolution really became noticeable, Artie became an annoying burden, and there was a definate dropoff in quality. Nevertheless there were great moments (artie fightsm gary pitch)

2010 (4/10) wasn't good, and I gave Howard a pass until it became obvious that they were not going to replace Artie

2011 (3/10) was when I stopped listening to the show regularly and only followed it on htv. Howard was in full pc, hamptonite mode and the show was officially part time. I also started listening to O&A as a replacement for Howard (first checked them out at the end of 2010).

2012 (1/10) The show is an AGT infomercial with an abortion or gay rant thrown in now and then. I cancelled HTV a few weeks ago. Highlight of the year was the KOAB Beth call, which will be swept under the rug

    At the time: 10/10
now, knowing what I know about Bernard madoff stern: 1/10... And he only gets a point based on the fact that he was still ripping us off, but at least we got a halfway decent product, 5 days a week.

That's pretty much me too. Each year seems better compared to the next.

Don't put it all on Artie. heh Remember half the time he was sleeping.

The one show I 'd love that's missing is 5-11. Shy Love was on. The youtube version cuts out parts.
