Billionaire Ray Dolby invented the Dolby NR system. He was 80 years and he blinded me with science.
damn I was gonna ask if he died a blind man.
Thank god Ray Dubly is still alive
The funeral service is gonna be in surround sound (as a tribute)
Rest in peace smart man whose switch on my stereos I never knew what the fuck it did but looked cool.
Time for a moment of silence...
Howard had the idea for Dolby sound years before Dolby.
Dolby B - buried
Dolby C - cremated
Kids these days are spoiled with high bit rate, CD-quality mp3s. Back in the day of cassette tapes Dolby B made a huge difference...unless your ears were so shot they didn't hear the hiss without it.
i heard this......was sorry to hear that
It may have been a bigger hit if it had been recorded in Dubly. She was right.
Hilarious scene! I love when Nigel starts making fun of her for saying that!
I always liked this live version too from the 80's
R.I.P. non-Thomas Dolby, although back in the day I don't know one person who pushed that dumb "Dolby" button on their cassette player unless they liked muffled sound with no high end.
