If you pay to go see Ghostbusters you get what you deserve.
That asshole judge who decided that more incarceration time than 6 months would be harmful to this boy should also be publicly excoriated and ostracized by name and photo.
Yuuuuup, he's an asshole.
But, but it was ONLY 20 mins of action! Sheesh!
Yes we get it. The new ghostbusters movie will be terrible.
Judge Aaron Persky is a Stanford guy - he may have given a different sentence if the rapist was a poor kid from East Palo Alto instead of a Stanford swimmer.
Over 600,000 signatures already.
he was just elected to a 6 year term
He ran uncontested.
You Internet sjw's scare me sometimes.
Jalel White scares you, you fucking faggot

That's the beauty of the internet isn't it?
(and you can ask a particular manufacturer who recently refused to stand by a high ticket item I bought how much business they lost through the various complaint sites and free subdomains that pop up on search engines, slamming them and their product with documentation vs how little it would have cost to just do the right thing and satisfy a customer/me).
Yes you're right... in a David vs Goliath scenario, it certainly can be empowering.
What was it that ya bought?
Wanna make sure I don't buy a lemon.
I'll just say it was the leather on a recliner that was 2 years old.. I have a blueprint for going after businesses that don't do the right thing, and part of that is a disclaimer that my experiences may or may not reflect other purchasers.. with documentation. Cuz I don't want to run the risk of getting sued in revenge, I'll just leave it at that.
I don't know if I can agree with these public humiliation tactics. Remember that girl at Columbia U who spent her final year toting a mattress around campus to protest the school’s failure to punish her alleged rapist? She hounded that guy with so many text messages begging him to fuck her (she asked for anal, seriously), and when he finally broke it off after numerous consensual encounters, it became rape and everybody went along with it. Eventually, it spiraled into a national story. That guy was found to have done nothing wrong by the school and a police investigation, and yet she was allowed to parade around with her rape mattress for a year smearing an innocent man for an art course credit (WHAT THE FUCK) and was invited to the 2015 State of the Union address.
The Brock Turner case is obviously different, and very horrific, but.... Brian Banks went to jail for 5 years for rape. He was innocent and eventually exonerated. Where was the feminist outrage then? The Turner case sucks, because justice was not served and it feeds into the narrative of radical third wave feminists. They want gender-sensitivity specialized courts where the alleged victim can't be asked any questions and the male goes directly to jail because he's part of a vast male conspiracy to rape women.
