    I have an iPhone 4S and am out of contract right now. My phone is acting up but I can swap it for $50.....I could upgrade but I'd rather not pay $100 a month on my phone if I don't have to so what are my options? What cheap plans have good coverage?

    Sorry, not much of a "melter". I tend to just quietly contemplate suicide and sob when I feel wronged on the internets (and I'd like to do it with cheaper data rates). :c

    You can get an Iphone on Straight Talk for $45 a month at Walmart. You have to buy it outright but you can finance it on a Walmart card for $20 month

    Lots of these seem like great options but, unless I'm missing something, none of them allow me to use my existing iphone which is kind of the point. :nocheer:

    If you own it, get your previous provider to unlock it for you and go to Tmobile

    Tmobile coverage is shaking compared to verizon in my area...but half the price

    Most wil gladly let you use your phone

    $50 for no frills phones shrink to $35.
    (after every 6 mos. you get $5 off your bill)

    Unlimited everything & coverage is pretty decent (in LA, anyway)
