A while back I bought a $10 Google Play card, to replace the one my kid ate up w/ in game purchases playing Angry Birds Go. I have rooted through the Play Store and found nothing of interest to spend it on, though I did get a free version of Contra and spend a few hours playing it.

Got any worthwhile paid apps to suggest?

Drippler is a good one. It's free too and once you install it, fill in what device you have, the alerts you receive are device specific. Plus, one of the cool benefits is that it recommends other apps that work great on your device.

I use the free version of Tunein daily, I hear the paid version is suppose to have a few more options.

I used Tune In a lot in my old mini van, when the antennae was broken. Sprint would throttle me after 5-6 hrs.

I use it quite a bit especially when I'm waiting for my kids at their practices, I can receive all my old talk shows from L.A. and Soma FM.

RadioTunes is great also if you just like pure music, they have non stop music channels in every style you can think of.
