He was on the air a hour longer and he would attend creative meetings and actually plan for the show.

Seems like everyone only talks about the 2 and 3 day work weeks and we've forgotten the hour he stole from the show.

Dude--Howard is "working" an extra hour each day by listening to the Wrap Up Show.

How else does he prepare for the morning "Wrap Up Show Wrap Up Show."

Howard doesn't listen to the wrap up show he gets the clips in the morning and runs with it.

No financial incentive to do a good show (ratings, subscriber bonuses) means just showing up a few times a month is good enough. "I got your money, suckers!" is a line that now works for Howard more than it ever did for Jackie.

I remember back in the early to mid-90s when he worked 5 days a week and 4.5-5 hours a day. And I used to get bummed out over the weekends when he wasn't on.

It's true. Complaining that there is not enough show is like complaining that the food in a restaurant is shitty and the portions are so small.

All this used to driveme crazy...now I don't give a single shit...I don't think I listen 10 minutes a week now. I really hope Howard moves on to a new shill project after Sirius and gets to see how much of his former audience he has completely alienated...

This...Howard is in retirement mode. He does 3 hours then turns it over to Robin so she can fuck up a half dozen or so news stories.

They would get on a roll during the news with Jackie and sometimes be there until noon.

Oh well. The King is dead.

His show used to be original
His show used to have fights that had teeth in terms of viciousness
His show used to not really on daily staff arguments every show
His show used to not rely on wack-packers providing daily updates that make up 1/4 the show

At it's peak, it truly was the greatest show in history.
Howard was able to do 4 - 5 hours, 5 days a week and fill it up with original material.
Now he calls it in 2 or 3 days a week to promote his fucking talent show.
It's a slap in the face to his real fans (the ones who funded his bullshit revolution).
When he was on top of his game, we were the most loyal fans anybody could ask for.
Now he cares more about impressing the old ladies that watch talent contests than his real fans.
The only thing funny about his show is laughing at what he has become.
