Apple seems to have to put an end to that though. 80% of the people I know have an iPhone it seems.
those cats know what they are doing
A recent study proved 72% of all quoted statistics were made up.
All joking aside, I actually have the opposite observation around me.
I was on a large construction site with 50-60 people and most of us had Androids.
It seems to me majority of the parents I meet at games and school functions by me also have them. Maybe I just notice them more because I have one.
Yep..everyone has a Samsung..I'm rocking the S7 Edge
Sweet, another thread where people argue why their phone is better
I see Windows Phones all over the place.
No I'm joking, do they even make those things anymore?
I miss my StarTac!!!
Apple has a 14% worldwide market share for smartphones, while Android has 84%. Not saying one is better than the other, but numbers is numbers.
Have you been to a cell phone store lately? Apple is losing ground and has admitted that people will be holding onto their phones for 2-3 years now.
they probably arent chasing pokemans either
Dumb kids have iPhones. Smart parents have Android phones. I just spent a day shopping and while I like the size of the iPhone se, none of my music is synced to iTunes. I cannot control an iPhone like an Android device. SD cards are a huge plus. Sony Expedia has a 4.7" device to compete.
As a Samsung user, I did not like the S7. I ended up buying the Blu R1 HD on Amazon Prime day. $59 for what I thought would be a throwaway phone. I love it! Pure Android like a Moto X without stereo speakers. It has ads on the lock screen, but not annoying at all. More expensive is not always better.
When you could use your phone and the battery didnt die within 5 minutes.
Apple changed the game that's for sure. Did they invent everything? No. What they did do is perfect it and make it simple and just work seamlessly.
That said, I feel like Apple is starting to decline while Samsung is gaining steam. They have some real nice phones out there. Not enough for me to change, I will have my iPhone 6 till it dies. I feel like Apple needs to innovate more, but I'm not sure what else they can do.
You have ads on your lock screen?
They actually have statistics on stuff like this
I had a friend who walked into the ocean with his Iphone in his pocket by mistake , it was bricked. Of course he got a deal when he bought it with the plan, but to replace it, it would cost $800 new, so he had to buy a used one for a lot more than a new Android costs.
I just got this Android one for $100 new, Got it the day it came out on Sunday. It has 32 gb memory which is great, I replaced my old one which only had 8gb and 4 were used for system files so when I wanted a new app I had to remove a large old one to fit it. The old one was also waterproof for a half hour in 3 feet of water.
Android 6 Marshmallow also allows you to use a micro SD card as internal memory instead of an external memory card so now I can have an extra 256 gb drive on my phone.
Plus it has Gorilla Glass and a fingerprint scanner and a 6 inch screen and USB- type C connector.
