NFL is hiring scabs for atleast the first week. How will this affect the entire season?

The head refs in the preseason have been a bunch of stuttering pricks who aren't qualified to oversee an NCAA game. You are seeing personal fouls called on DBs over shoulder-to-chest hits. These chodes have worse judgment than Andy Dick on a bender in Thailand.

There will be a number of issues, not least of which will be games dragging out to nearly four hours while these crews struggle to get things right. Still, the replay review system should bail them out on most of the key calls.

Like I said, they will be longer but at least the replay gives them the opportunity to get it right. That option wouldn't have been there a few years ago, now every score and turnover is reviewed automatically without a coach's challenge.

ya that's the biggest issue i see, the game dragging.

i was surprised to learn how little the pro refs are paid too($25000 to $70000). i don't blame them for asking for more

I'm very worried they're going to fuck up so bad it'll cost me some fantasy football wins.

Poor babies. Only 70K for twenty 4 hour days of work each year, plus another 20 sitting in meetings. They need a union to protect them from being exploited. Where on earth do they find people willing to sacrifice to be refs? They get to hob nob with NFL players, stay in first class hotels, eat free restaurant meals, and be away from their wife and screaming kids up to 20 weekends a year.

Meanwhile, I can't believe those coal miner faggots complain so much. They should go see how bad an NFL ref's got it.
