so, so stupid. what good is a party of principles without principles?
Listen, I am sure Republicans will appeal greatly to the negros, illegals, and all others of the non-Aryan race
or maybe they'll turn into a principled conservative party?
Well, they could turn into a super-awesome principled conservative party and they would get laughable killed in any national election.
And I love it....
yeah, likely because you do not see that America is a force, er, was a force for good in the world
I have absolutely no idea what this means or how it relates to what I said.
i disagree with you siriusdawg. i feel conservative ideals could win elections, if presented reasonably and intelligently. the problem is almost all the current republicans aren't really conservatives.
acting like retards and blindly hating democrats, are not conservative principles.
ok, stay with me. there was this guy, George Washington, and this other guy, Alexander Hamilton, and this other guy, Thomas Jefferson, and 52 other guys, mostly pastors, who crafted this thing called the United States of America, based on their statement of faith that all men are created equal, and endowed by their Creator with inalienable rights, i.e., life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
people that admire and respect that try to CONSERVE that
then there are other people, who want Uncle Sam to pay their rent, fill their gas tanks, and buy them obamaphones. these people are not the sort of people that can craft a country like the United States of America.
you are in the same party as THOSE people.
(the fact that you think that's a racist statement is indicative of the problem you face dealing with reality)
I agree but I am stating what I am stating because I do not see Republicans in my lifetime....1) Being actually conservative, 2) Being rational, or 3) Accepting non-Whites to their club
Except of course the slaves they owned?
ah, and there you have it. because the founders had slaves, everything else they did goes to naught
such is the cry of the children of the Greatest Generation, the WWII generation, when their pitiful lives could not hope to stack up to their fathers' generation
slaves. racist. therefore we're better. you keep on kidding yourself dude. George Washington v. barack hussein obama is a laughable comparison
Well no, when you have slaves....you are in fact not equal to them....therefore you using that line with slave owners is a bit comical.
If we want to use the founders vision for government, etc....I have no issue with that but situations change and facts can change....so why we would live off a 1700-1800 philosophy often is beyond me.
yes, because in your opinion, we are more educated, more enlightened, and more evolved than our founding fathers were
Educated? Enlightened? Evolved? No & No & No.
Today is a different time. We are not killing off Indians, enslaving blacks, or using lamps for light.
Well, I am sure Republicans would long for the first two....
do you do a lot of amphetimines? are you suicidal? are you a tall skinny dude with weird hair?
so then, in your opinion, we would be better off conserving what the founding fathers did, rather than fundamentally transforming the country away from their principles
What does that mean exactly?
