Going to a strip club to watch the NFL? -------------------- Take it off! Rick’s Cabaret won’t show Giants games, poor play making guys boo while dancers strip. 'During the second half, customers were booing at the screens,' and dancers had a hard time cheering them up, said club spokesman Lonnie Hanover. There's a bust that's too big even for a Manhattan strip club - the Giants' 2013 season. When customers at Rick's Cabaret in Midtown were yelling "Take it off" this past Sunday, they were actually yelling at the TV screens playing the Giants game. "During the second half, customers were booing at the screens," and dancers had a hard time cheering them up, said club spokesman Lonnie Hanover. Now Giants games have been banned from the premises. "Until the Giants get their act together, we will not be showing them on TV," Hanover said. The popular club will continue showing other sporting events, but the Giants' poor play has been leaving patrons — and performers — big-time blue. "I love the Giants and wish them the best, but during Sunday's Giants game I had one customer who was almost in tears when (quarterback Eli) Manning threw the last interception," said one of the dancers, who only gave her name as Alex. http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york...lub-pulls-plug-giants-games-article-1.1478725
