san frAN side is cold and foggy / other side is sunny and lovely
first pic is solid as hell
wouold love to see the 3rd pic without the aids patient in it, seems like it would be a great scenic view
Its like 11:00 oclock at night here. Just sayin
bullshit dude, prove it
Check out a doc called The Bridge. Its like cameras on the Bridge 24/7 and showing all the folks jumping. then they go back and do research on the jumpers....way cool.....GG Bridge is the most beautiful place in the world to kill yourself
we got held up cus a jumper had just gone over..its pretty common
It's crazy walking on it and feeling it move so much
Especially when you are hitch hiking home on LSD
its like the mecca for suicide types
I was there three weeks ago with my 11 and 14 year old. We walked up and back. It was clear as crystal. Stunning views. The folks on bikes were sort of a pain in the ass at all the turnouts. They are also super hyper with the fucking bells. It's like they scream "get the fuck out my way!" Still all in all a great experience.
It use to be bikes on one side and peds on the other
That's funny because there's one side with no one on it and I was thinking, "hey if y'all don't want to go on that side we will."
Back inna '80s there was some sort ofanniversary or something and they closed the bridge off to cars. we were supposed to be part of the mass that walked on the bridge and made it actually sag....The pic was in the paper, but all I remeber is some dorm room at SFSU and security
I heard plenty of people jump off it. So much so they are thinking about installing a net under it. How depressing you jump from the golden gate and get caught 15 feet below by some net. Shit I can't even kill myself right.
I think theyve has safety nets at certain places for a long time but not sure. Its probly mostly for the workers. Hell if I wanted to jump Id just do a triple flip onto the net for fun and then swan dive from the net for death
I live within minutes of the Forest Hill bridge. They have modified the bridge to prevent jumping. Only the highest bridge in the state.
