Hooterville has lost one of its own.

    http://www.latimes.com/local/obituaries/la-me-pat-woodell-20151018-story.html

Actress Pat Woodell, who starred as one of a trio of sisters in the wholesome 1960s sitcom "Petticoat Junction" before she went on to be featured in a series of not-so-wholesome exploitation films, died Sept. 29 at her home in Fallbrook, Calif. She was 71.

Known as Patricia McDade off screen, she had battled cancer for more than 20 years, said her husband, Vern McDade.

    They all did.

Someone put together all of the show openings. All took the plunge in the train water tower.

There was more than one Bobbie Joe? Damn, I didn't remember that. I was way young when that show was on.

I was watching Green Acres a few weeks ago and it was an episode where the shows overlapped with each other. I was laughing my ass off at Uncle Joe :bounce:

I watched this as a kid in the 80's. I understood how they made Green Acres a spin off of this, but they also somehow connected it to the Beverly Hillbillies, I remember seeing a crossover show, never understood how that happened.

Paul Henning was the creator and producer of Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction. He was also the Executive Producer of Green Acres. All were on CBS.

Mr. Ed was before my time.

PJ reruns got my youthful pecker excited when the opening credits ran and the girls were at the water tower.

Plus, I wanted to know about the producer and watched his interview on the American Archive of Television.
