This was a great album
everything after that
Rivers walks with a hop bc one leg is longer than the other
The green album is great! Everything after THAT is
This. I saw them on their Green Album tour, and was pleasantly surprised. Havent liked a note of theirs since.
Still think Blue Album and Pinkerton are both significantly better than Green
I like maybe 2 songs off the Green album, was a fan of the first two but lost interest.
Saw Weezer when Teenage Fanclub opened for them around 95'-96.
Great memories of that show. I Teenage Fanclub.
Saw Teenage Fanclub again when they opened for Radiohead in 97'.
Another great show.
Still a great, great live act....
Seent weezer a few years back at jones beach. It was like 50 degrees out and the show was delayed due to rain. They played for about 40 minutes and walked off the stage.
Anyone hear Weezer's new album that just came out yesterday? I like it. It's their best since Green IMHO.
I saw that it is on Spotify. I haven't listened to it yet, but I will.
Blue and Pinkerton (and to a lesser extent Green) were all so good. I couldn't really get into anything after that.
They played Riot Fest here in Denver a few weeks ago, and played the entire Blue Album....awesome!
I was surrounded by a red glow last night...
I remember Microsoft had their Buddy Holly song preinstalled on Windows 95... I thought that was the coolest thing ever to be "watching a video" on my computer ...
Some actually-really-good songs from Weezer's "lost years when everyone thought they sucked donkey cocks but everyone was wrong...OK????" :
I listened to their new album this morning.
I like it. @Mike in Houston said it was the best Weexer album, since The Green Album, and this may be true. This new one does not measure up to any of those older ones, but it is a HUGE step in the right directions, after a few questionable releases.
When we are all old and fucked up, "Raditude" will be looked at as a high-concept masterpiece in satire... on par with great albums by Ween and Fountains of Wayne....
