Howard told RDJ that he and Robin went out on a date to see the movie, and it was great. Howard said an audience full of critics actually broke out into applause at the end.

    Critics are saying:
"An overstuffed, overlong slog of a legal drama."
"It wants to be many movies, and fails at being even one of them."
"Verdict on The Judge: a disappointment."

Howard asked Robert if he thinks he'll be nominated for an Academy Award for his performance. Robin said they were both thinking that as they watched the movie.

    Critics are saying:
"Not much fun watching Downey hit emotional beach balls out of the park for 2 hours plus. Ham and corn."
"The Judge is barely watchable because of Downey Jr.'s droll performance
    ."

After Robert said the movie would do well, Howard asked if it'll kill him if the movie tanks. Robert said it would be upsetting.

The Judge grossed just over $13,000,000 in its opening weekend, good for fifth place.

"Robin, I don't get why more stars don't come on our show when they are out promoting a movie. Our 12 million listeners would support their movies and make the movie open at #1."

Apparently, Howard's 12 million listeners supported the movie in full force by seeing the movie at the matinee at $1 per show movie theaters.

I saw the coming attractions for this film..it looked like it was trying too hard to be Oscar worthy.

Howard interviewed Bill Hader for an hour just before interviewing RDJ. Saturday's Hader-hosted SNL tied the May 10 telecast hosted by Charlize Theron as the lowest rated SNL ever in household and 18-49 ratings. :bigcry:

Saw Skelton Twins (bill hader) Friday night looking for some fun and walked away depressed and suicidal. Really weird movie.
