Anyone catch the discussion with JD talking about moving?

I bet Robin does the show on ISDN in NYC and goes to the Jersey Shore on the weekends.

Recently Quivers mentioned a Kwanza display in her lobby.

When Robin asked JD where in Manhattan his new place is, he said something like, "It's by your place." Maybe he just doesn't realize she sold her Manhattan apartment? Or maybe that's JD's idea of being witty?

JD's actually making enough to sustain the cost of living in Manhattan? Guess that's what happens when you don't blow $10,000 on skin models.

Robin is renting in NYC....is my guess.
Wherever the cool hip Negros are is where Robin is in Manhattan.
JD is renting is the shady outskirts.

NYC regulars can weigh in on this.
I don't think JD would be moving into Robins now sold NYC condo neighborhood

If he's living in manhattan then he has to be sharing. He can't afford it on his own.

I think he meant her old place

And he could be living in a shoe box on the UWS, like that teeny 80 sq foot one rented to ZooZaZoo.

Any nice 1br is at LEAST $2500

Are you saying JD doesn't know Robin sold her condo?
    I don't believe that for a second.

The place she unloaded in December was in Lincoln Square, on the Upper West Side.
According to Street Easy, studio apartments in the Upper West side start at $1,300 a month. The cheapest studio in Lincoln Square goes for $1,450 a month. And by studio we're talking 250 - 300 square feet.

JD: "Right next to you, Robin"

Robin selling her UWS place was discussed here and on SFN.
JD knows she sold the place.

JD does not need much space.
Maybe a micro apartment. What he needs is his privacy.
And he better not spend much time in that apartment because he has to work on clips for the show.

If he's on the upper west side-which is where Howard lives too- he's probably living on the top floor of an old building without an elevator. But even a studio that's a six floor walk up would probably run close to 2000 per month

that's if you're lucky....(or it's a rundown walkup type of building). manhattan real estate is going crazy nowadays. there's very little inventory if you're in the market to buy so that means people are being forced into renting (which in turn makes THAT inventory small and expensive).
