Green Day, Ringo Starr, Joan Jett, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lou Reed, and The Paul Butterfield Band, all being inducted in 2015.
    Not an impressive list.

Shitshow. Mike Bloomfield was a great guitarist. Is he getting inducted with Paul Butterfield?

I believe so. This years line up of inductees is really bad. The tickets to the induction show are usually hard to come by. With this line up, I doubt it will sell out. Unless Ringo gets Sir Paul to play some Beatles tunes with him.

    True dat.

But as time passes, most of the original hard rockers are either already nominated or have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. There's not a lot of them left...

    Green Day, meh
    Ringo Starr, is a legend
Joan Jett, told the music industry to fuck off and still became succesful
Stevie Ray Vaughan, redefined an entire genre
    Lou Reed, pioneer
The Paul Butterfield Band, don't know much about

I'd say four of those entries deserve it.

Green Day? Really? Lou Reed should have been inducted a long time ago...too bad he isn't around anymore to accept it. Way to go Hall of Fame.

Joan Jett but no Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, or Pantera. Go figure.

The smiths and Nine inch nails were also up,for induction this year, and we're passed on. I feel the smiths should be in before fucking Green Day.

Green Day is a first ballot inductee and bands like The Cars and Cheap Trick have never even been nominated. Travesty.

Green Day are one of Jann Wenner's pet bands.

For me, the only thing special about Paul Butterfield Band was the presence of guitarist Mike Bloomfield.
