Stern Show Roger Daltrey to Howard: "Where are the jokes?"

Was flipping around the dial in the car the other day, and caught the end of the replay of the latest "This is Your Life" chatfest with Roger Daltrey. When Daltrey realized it was almost over he said "Where are the jokes?" He obviously hadn't gotten the memo about the new, evolved show. Howard tried to improvise something funny, but the best he could come up with was "How big is your cock?"
I thought that little segment perfectly summarized where the show is at this point.

I'm waiting for a celebrity fan to come on air and blast the show and Howard be being such a shit show of unfunny. It's got to happen sooner or later

What makes this beating even better is that it was either right before or right after her infamous Jeff Conaway tweet. I think it was after, as Howard mentions Robin's "depression", and I think the backlash from that tweet was what caused it, even though she'd never admit it.

Phillips: "and then we made this movie "Due Date", which Robin claims noone saw, even though it made $220,000,000 worldwide"

I loved Phillips not backing down even more. He seems like a very cool dude.

 

Of course dawgshed episodes have opened the shows with this sequence, among others that prove the decline over the years.
