It's OK.....although I think Roots is the most boring form of reggae. Ska was better even imo

It's sure evolved though eh? This one's about fighting poverty by growing weed :p

it's almost exclusively what I listen to. i'm big into waterhouse, early roots stuff like Black Uhuru, Burning Spear, Dennis Brown, Barrington Levy, obviously Marley, Toots & the Maytals, Josie Wales, Eek-A-Mouse, Michael Rose, I Roy, Tosh, Prince Hammer, Yellowman etc... soothes the soul. i cant' stand that dubstep shit though (no offense) but I do like Dub

I had a dream last might about the different types of reggae!!
there were like 4new types, one was like dancehall but they didn't get excited, they just stayed even tempered when they sang but other than that it was dancehall. There were only s few artists doinng it, but it was its own category.
I forget the other ones but they were weird too.

Good list right here. Takes me back to my youth. Won fix to see Black Uhuru with King Sunny Ade back in 85 or so and almost blew it off. So glad I went. Still listening to them
