Rumored Pantera reunion with Zakk Wylde on the fiddle????

Zakk gets a lot of shit from people but I think he's the only one I would support in something like this (besides myself of course). Zakk and Dime were tight and he has a decent handle on the "feel" of the songs. I've heard a lot of Pantera covers and dudes always get the notes right but it never feels the same and sounds empty to me. I for one would love to see this and would buy tickets for every show within 100 miles of here.

 

Vinnie Paul said he would never work with Phil again.

They could get Terry Glaze to sing again and go back to that 80s hair metal sound. Damn did early Pantera sound different from late pantera.

 

People say shit all the time. Money talks and Vinnie/Rita ain't exactly rolling in dough anymore. They would rake in shitloads of cash with a tour like that. Fact.

I agree with Scott but Kerry doesn't play those songs well. Not sure why but I don't like him doing Pantera songs.

Never really heard of them but I like a band with a fiddle. Do they do Foggy Mountain Breakdown or Fire on the Mountain? It would be perfect if they did some Western Swing, like Ida Red or Roly Poly.

 

No way. Vinnie truly believes Phil is personally responsible for dime's death. Phil was saying alot of shit about dime saying he should die. He said similar things on stage when he was here in c-bus a month before dime getting shot. So no. there isn't enough money in the world for vinnie to share the stage with the man who made remarks that may have paid a part in his brothers death.

Hey dude, I feel ya. I love pantera but the ugly truth is they will never reunite. This isn't like gnr. Where the singer has a terminal case of lead singer disease an can't get along with the rest of the band. There is real hatred between the remaining members of pantera. It sucks bit it is what it is.

 

I like Vinnies wig and dyed beard......that guy has style.

 

Isnt there some static now between Phil and Rex since Rex left Down? Either way anything would be better than that awful Hellyeah
