In case you missed the live broadcast. At the end, Howard thanked his daughters who I presume weren't even there.

"The evening began with Rob Zombie performing 'Great American Nightmare,' the official opening theme song of Stern's daily program on SiriusXM satellite radio.

'Star Trek' actor and official Stern show announcer George Takei introduced several of the show staff members (among them, co-host Robin Quivers, writer Fred Norris, and executive producer Gary Dell'Abate) before presenting the host of the Bash, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

After a few jokes, Kimmel introduced Stern to an adoring audience of friends and contest winners.

Kimmel then introduced veteran comedians Joan Rivers and Jeffrey Ross, who together proceeded to 'roast' the guest of honor.

The event also included the following musical performances:

    'Lonely Boy' by Black Keys
'Like a Rolling Stone' by John Mayer
'Wanted Dead or Alive' by Jon Bon Jovi
'Blackbird' by comedic actor Fred Armisen
'Purple Rain' by Train and Adam Levine from Maroon 5
'Bad Moon Rising' and 'Fortunate Son' by John Fogerty
'Everlong' and 'Hero' by Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters

Comedian Sarah Silverman and singer Natalie Maines performed an original song that poked fun at the guest of honor and other staff members from the show.

Musician Jewel delivered a rendition of 'Silver Nickels, Golden Dimes,' a song about prostitutes that Stern admittedly wrote as a young boy.

Train served as the house band for the event and also performed 'Drive By' and a cover of a classic Led Zeppelin track.

The following celebrities and musicians were not able to attend the event and shared their birthday wishes to Stern with video messages:

    Paul McCartney
    Kathie Lee Gifford
    Jerry Seinfeld
    Arnold Schwarzenegger
    Beach Boys
    Neil Young
    James Hetfield of Metallica
    George Clooney
Matt Lauer and Al Roker from 'Today'

At one point during the party, reporter Maria Menounos from the show 'Extra!' conducted an interview on stage with Stern. ...

Steven Tyler, lead vocalist for the band Aerosmith, was the final performer of the night. He sang 'Dream On' and was joined on stage by Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash. They ended the night with Tyler performing 'Walk This Way' after Grohl joined them from behind the drum kit.

A gracious Stern thanked his dedicated staff members, his wife Beth, his daughters, his agent, and others for the celebration."

were his daughters there? It always struck me so odd that they weren't at the second, celebrity wedding party. Beth aside, I think most daughters would attend their dad's wedding.

I edited my post because I don't believe they were there. You would think there would be at least one photo of them if they were.

Were Sal and Richard actually there? If so, was either one recognized to the crowd by Wiggy or Kimmel?

They should have introduced the staff and the wackpack to the crowd and listeners.

Black Keys? I thought Howard ripped them last year and didn't want them on the show. Lena Dunham? Didn't Howard rip into her last year also? This looks more like an apology guest list rather than a "close friends and family" one.
