What are your thoughts on the change of command. Personally I hate the idea. He brought absolutely nothing to the HS show. He shat on the walls, was always so "busy" programming two channels with no original content. And you know he will NEVER have a bad word to say about the POS show he just got shitcanned from!
I actually don't think people are being fair to him, his job was essentially to take the place of Tom Chiusano in maintaining the illusion that Stern doesn't have control over the money and staff (which has been known since 2006 when the Viacom/CBS lawsuit went into discovery). Tim is a fairly respected radio guy based on his work before that, and if you believe that shitting on the walls thing wasn't a bit, well then I don't know what to tell you. I'm not a big O&A guy, but I think people should give the guy a chance.
Fuck him! He would come into the HS studio, and anytime things got out of his "comfort zone" he would just walk out of the studio. not a team player at all IMO.
He's a real radio guy, I don't think he ever signed up for that. If you look back, it was after Stern jettisoned so much of his other talent that he had to rely on him for airtime, I doubt Sabean ever intended to be a "character" on the show.
You're probably right, but I bet he doesn't stay off the air on O&A. As far as the shit incident goes, what "professional" would want that out there? It can't be taken back now.
He is the liaison for a bunch of talk/comedy shows He is not part of the O&A show, but who they report to On 100/101 he reported to Stern
