I felt so sorry for Sal during that segment, they all ganged up on him. Stern has said some way worse shit about people...
Howard said anything goes during the roasts. Sal did what he was told.
Artie: The golddigger joke is funny because it's not true, but the horse face joke....
Nice one Artie
How many Ames models does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Three...Beth, one to hold her reigns, and one to stand on her back to reach the bulb.
Funny how Sal threw Artie under the bus about telling him to use the Beth joke then Fred took a couple veiled shots.
It didn't hurt Howard but he had to talk about how his wife was in FHM almost immediately afterward
Hahaha! She's sensitive about being a horse face. Guess she noticed that about herself too.
Sal is the only one on the show who has ever had any balls with the Pelican/Horse relationship/arrangement.
Years before he was even hired on the show when Chimneymaster first brought her home from the brothel or wherever he bought her, Sal would call up and say stuff like...."How is Beth doing with the transition from Roy Rogers to Nobu?"
Everyone else on the actual show were horrendous ass kissers in regards to Yokostrosky.
The Booey Monkey and Stuttering John were by far the worst. Fred right behind. Artie would always "say" the right ass kissing stuff he assumed he was expected to say but in his case I sometimes thought it often came of very unconvincing and insincere (and was meant to be) same as with Robin later after she ridiculed Beth's FHM spread/interview and said something like "How long has she been 29?". Lmfao.
Classic line from from Fred...
Howard "let's call Beth again"
Fred "she's probably in the stable again..."
Howard passive aggressive..."Sal, just roast her..."
he knew Sal would zoom in with a zinger..
"She's real sensitive about that."---- Howard after Beth hangs up following Sal's horse impersonation.
I love Sal...man that guy has natural comedic timing, self depreciating humor...Dam shame Howard wastes his talent on phony phone calls.
Fred makes me sick.
