Lobster tails in the toaster? Get the fuck out of here with that :snicker:

Is this what he's counting on when the Wig fires him?

I just made up my mind for the "Who's next to go" thread.
If Sal has lobster tails money he's as good as dead.

I use my $20 toaster oven all the time, it gets hot really fast, and cooks fish particularly well on 400 degrees

Sal is a guy who actually tries to be creative and I give him credit. I cannot believe some GM has not offered Sal and Richard a morning show in a decent size market.

Count me in as a big Sal fan.

to cook lobster? If you are shelling out the dough for lobster, you're going to cook it in a fucking toaster oven?

    Now that makes more sense..

that is a good convection oven like sal's frozen lobster tail is good lobster

That's a Breville convection oven/pizza oven, that costs almost $300

I would never broil lobster, that either gets steamed, poached or grilled. But for a lot of stuff my toaster oven does just fine, I's rather use it than turn on my big oven, But Sal's is very high tech and pricey. Mine really cost me $20

Toaster ovens work perfect for a lot of food you wouldn't think, it's just the "stigma" of a toaster oven that people can't get over. It is a just a heat source, and that heat source is more direct heat, when compared to a traditional oven, which is more indirect heat by contrast.

Enjoy a more efficient way of heating, cooking, and baking with this Breville Smart Oven. The sleek stainless steel body has an insulated dual wall door and glass window that will match and fit in with any kitchen decor. This 1800 watt counter top oven does the thinking for you with features like automatic adjusting heating elements, an LCD suggestion menu with nine temperature and time functions that remembers them for your next use, auto-ejecting rack, and pull out crumb tray. Toast evenly, make cookies, bake pizza, and ovenroast meat 30% faster than other convection ovens.

OK so I seem to be in the minority on this one... I stand corrected. I usually grill my lobster, but perhaps I have a toaster oven stigma as Tranquil suggested.

I have one of these GE convection ovens and I hardly cook fish in it.. Sea Bass, occasionally, but like I said, I am a grill kinda guy.
