OK. I know I'm gonna regret asking, but does anyone here know anything about this stuff?
There was a thread on this a couple of months ago. Somebody on here is into it big time. I'm trying to remember who it is. His tanks are beautiful.
some people do, yes.
OK cool. Thought I was gonna get clobbered. We have two nano reef tanks for a couple of months and I'm having a problem with this guy:
sorry,can't help you.
he has the measles
stop feeding him lemons
that fish poses for pictures like schmoopy
I see signs of Cryptocaryon irritans or Oodinium in that pic.
Joyce, is this another homework question?
Jesus, why don't you just set your wallet down in the garage, and take an aceteleyne torch to it.
Hope you like watching expensive fish die.
I'm pretty certain that its The Cunt who has saltwater reef tanks. I haven't seen him in a few days, so hopefully this will compel him to post again.
Could be trouble. He formally resigned from the board the other day when he was jailed. He posted some beautiful photos of his tanks.
Yep yep that's what I think it is. But I have snails and crabs and live rock/sand in there. I don't know if I should treat the tank or flush the fish???
acagirl - working on homework assignment: historical event from the 1980s, was thinking of doing the Achille Lauro terrorist attack. What do you think? 8th grad social studies.
Capn Crud has reef tanks
that'd be a good one actually. I was just starting to take interest in the news back then and lived in Ireland, I wonder how much different the commentary on it was over here.
Anyway I'm already afraid for you when that kid hits high school
good luck with the fishies dudette.
He has a lot of white spots that look like salt crystals on him, like you could flake them off if you tried. Swimming fine, eating fine. Other fish in the tank are a Yashia Goby, pistol shrimp, pygmy angel fish, some pompom crabs, and some hermit crabs and red starfish and turbo snail.
Too bad....I really liked him. Thank you for the heads up.
Yup Cryptocaryon irritans, sometimes called Ick, or yellow dust... Do you have a hospital tank setup? I don't recommend treating a sick fish in your main tank.
Do you have a master test kit and do you know your parameters, if so post them. I also see signs of fin rot, it could also be a water quality issue.
How bit is the tank? How often are you doing water changes and what percentage are you changing?
